Mogaji Olubadan of Ibadanland and political analyst, Mogaji Olaide Adeoye Olubodun, has appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, expressing confidence that sustained reforms and collective sacrifice are necessary to build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
Mogaji Adeoye, who is also known as the Arole and Mogaji Olubodun of Ibadanland, said Nigerians must be willing to give the President sufficient time to address the country’s longstanding challenges and lay a solid foundation for sustainable development.

He observed that although Nigerians understandably desire a country with efficient institutions, economic opportunities and living standards comparable to those of developed nations in Europe and America, achieving such progress requires patience, commitment and a willingness to make necessary sacrifices.
According to him, the expectation of immediate results should not overshadow the need to tackle the structural problems that have hindered Nigeria’s growth for decades.
The Ibadan Mogaji noted that while citizens have legitimate concerns about economic hardship and the rising cost of living, lasting solutions require more than temporary relief measures. He urged Nigerians to look beyond immediate interventions and support efforts aimed at addressing the underlying causes of the country’s challenges.
“Real change requires patience, sacrifice and a sincere commitment to solving problems at their roots. We must move beyond treating the symptoms of our national challenges and focus on sustainable solutions that will prevent them from recurring,” he said.
Mogaji Adeoye Olubodun maintained that Nigeria’s development would require a collective effort involving government, citizens and other stakeholders. He called on Nigerians to contribute positively to national progress while allowing the administration the opportunity to pursue its reform agenda.

He further argued that successive administrations had often relied on temporary measures that provided short-term relief without fully resolving the fundamental problems confronting the country. He expressed the hope that sustained and well-implemented reforms would help establish a stronger foundation for future generations.
While acknowledging the public’s desire for a better economy and improved living conditions, Mogaji Adeoye urged citizens to balance their expectations with patience and constructive engagement, stressing that meaningful national transformation is a gradual process that requires consistency and determination.
He expressed optimism that with perseverance, responsible governance and the support of citizens, Nigeria could overcome its longstanding difficulties and move towards greater stability, prosperity and development.
