The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency, Barr. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu (Seun TNA), on Saturday, October 10, 2026, visited Irewole/Irepo and Folorunso communities in Mogaji, Oyo West Local Government Area, as part of his ongoing engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In response to challenges raised by residents, including electricity infrastructure needs, the Seun Ashamu Campaign Council donated ₦5.5 million to each community, bringing the combined contributions to ₦11 million. The donations were presented during the visits.

Addressing residents, Ashamu reaffirmed his commitment to accessible representation, sustainable development and improved economic opportunities across Afijio, Oyo East, Oyo West and Atiba Federal Constituency.
Ashamu emphasised the importance of using legislative influence, budgetary processes and engagement with relevant authorities to pursue projects capable of improving livelihoods across the constituency.
Ashamu thanked community leaders and residents for their warm reception and assured them of his commitment to continued engagement.
Speaking during the visits, the Director-General of the Seun Ashamu Campaign, Hon. Sakiru Ojo, said the engagements reflected the candidate’s emphasis on listening directly to communities and developing practical responses to their needs.

The campaign team also visited a grassroots organisation associated with Surveyor Rasheed Oyekalu, where the Campaign Council presented an additional ₦1 million, bringing the total financial support during the engagements to ₦12 million.
The engagements were attended by party leaders and campaign officials, including former Senator Monsurat Sunmonu.
The visits formed part of Ashamu’s ongoing engagements across the four local government areas of Oyo Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
