The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency has come and gone, leaving behind a renewed sense of hope, unity, and commitment to the progress of the constituency and party.
Following the successful conduct of the primary held on May 16, 2026, Hon. Sarafa Olaoniye has expressed deep appreciation to party leaders, delegates, members, supporters, and all stakeholders whose contributions made the exercise peaceful and successful.
In his open letter of gratitude, the APC candidate acknowledged the role played by the party leadership at all levels in ensuring a transparent and democratic process, while also extending a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants and party faithful as preparations begin toward securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

I, Hon. Sarafa Olaito Olaoniye, the duly declared winner of the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primary for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency held on May 16, 2026, extend my sincere gratitude to all who made this victory possible.
To the national, state, constituency, and local government leadership of our great party, I thank you for providing a level playing field and upholding the democratic ideals of the APC. Your commitment to internal democracy remains the bedrock of our party’s strength.
To all party members, loyalists, and stakeholders across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North, your overwhelming support at the poll is humbling. The trust you have placed in me will not be taken for granted. I pledge to run a campaign rooted in service, integrity, and the interests of our people.
To my fellow contestants—Hon. Dr. Saubana Ajibola Muraina, Engr. David Olusegun Okanlawon, Barr. Opeyemi Ismaeel Tijani, Engr. Saheed Adeyemi Oladele, and Engr. Al-Ameen Tunde Bello—I appreciate your participation and your contributions to deepening democracy within our party. Your ideas and grassroots mobilization enriched the contest. In this process, there is no victor and no vanquished. The APC wins.
I therefore call on you all to join hands with me and the entire party structure as we prepare for the 2027 general elections. Our common goal is to secure victory for the APC in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency. Collaboration, unity, and discipline will take us there.
As we move forward, I urge all members to remain steadfast, focused, and united. The task ahead requires every hand on deck.
I also appeal to members who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards to do so within the current window provided by INEC. In this critical moment, any member of our party who does not have a PVC is not positioning us for victory in 2027. Let us all get our PVCs and mobilize others to do the same.
Together, we will present a united front and deliver a resounding victory for the APC in 2027.
