Historically, Ona-Ara has not experienced this pure developmental politics and purposeful leadership from someone not holding public office like they are enjoying through Akinola Kazeem. He has sincerely revealed that doing good transcends holding public office, and that it is a thing of the heart. While many are running away from identifying with their people at the grassroots, the retired Captain and Olode-Adetoun-born politician and businessman, and founder of Akinjide Kazeem Akinola Foundation, popularly known as AKA Foundation, has decided to continue standing with the people, even in the midst of his followers not happy with the decision of the party to cede the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency ticket away from him and to the incumbent. If you have met him by circumstance, engagement or chance, you will know that he is not worried about what is lost. He always sees them as what Allah does not want him to have, so as not to flout His sacred rules.
Uncommon and equally amazing, Akinola Kazeem has designed his templates for the development of the federal constituency, even not minding what the outcome of the party ticket will look like. Surprisingly, he is not deterred by it but sees strength from disappointment, and for the love of his people, he began to mark the plan one after the other with the distribution and installation of three hundred and fifty (350) solar-powered streetlights to over 57 communities in Ona-Ara Local Government. An action that has continued to generate accolades and commendations within and outside the federal constituency. That action has, in all fairness, given APC another lifeline in the federal constituency. It is equally important to note here that, while the distribution and installation of the solar-powered streetlights is ongoing, the building construction of the first-ever personal Constituency/Foundation Office in Ona-Ara was never stopped from being constructed, and is now due for commissioning. An event awaiting confirmation of date and time, and that is anticipated to shake the political atmosphere of Oyo State and Nigeria.
Let me put it straight as well that there are many other community-development-driven projects and initiatives ongoing, and on the table, that will give Ona-Ara Local Government another face when it comes to development. It is true that we cannot have it better than this from a noble son of Olode Adetoun Village in Ona-Ara Local Government who is not holding public office but chooses to give back to the society he hails from.

When considering his past activities and initiatives, one will definitely know that Akinola Kazeem is redefining developmental politics and purposeful leadership that is probably getting faded or not interested in contemporary societal politics. His past interventions, including educational support programmes, borehole and water projects, youth empowerment initiatives, community development activities and other grassroots support programmes through the AKA Foundation, have further demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of the people beyond political office. We can only keep praying for him, while we are also urging our public office holders to be up and doing in building a system that will be beneficial to all, irrespective of class and levels.
Truly, AKA, service to humanity.
