Princess Adedoja Felicitates Oyo Teachers, Hails Their Role in Nation Building

The Chief Executive Officer of Ara Foundation, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja, has felicitated teachers across Oyo State on Teachers’ Day, describing them as life designers and ever-supportive builders of society.

In her message, Princess Adedoja noted that no nation can achieve meaningful growth and development without teachers’ contributions, stressing that they play a fundamental role in nurturing the minds and human resources that drive progress across various sectors of society.

She commended the passion, sacrifice and relentless efforts of teachers in transforming struggling and disadvantaged learners into exceptional individuals, describing their contribution to human development as invaluable.

Adedoja urged teachers not to be discouraged by the challenges confronting the profession, assuring them that their labour and sacrifices will never be in vain.

Princess Adedoja also charged governments at all levels to prioritise the welfare of teachers by improving their working conditions, providing appropriate incentives, recognising their contributions and rewarding excellence, noting that a motivated teaching workforce is essential to building a prosperous and sustainable society.
