Our attention has been drawn to the news and speculations making the rounds following yesterday’s visit of our esteemed State APC Chairman and select party leaders to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Having heard your concerns, and I want to officially address the rumors regarding a purported “endorsement” of a specific aspirant for Oyo North senatorial district during that visit after the party primary conducted declared Col Dr Gbenga Adegbola Rtd winner.
Let me be absolutely clear: There was no endorsement.
Yesterday’s visit to Mr. President was a traditional, respectful courtesy call strictly meant to extend Barka da Sallah greetings to the leader of our great nation. It was an occasion of celebration and respect, not a platform for political handpicking or exclusion.
