SYMBOL GROUP ALIGNS WITH FAROUK ARISEKOLA’S “OMO OLOORE” MOVEMENT IN A SHOW OF UNITY, STRATEGIC CONSOLIDATION, AND SHARED COMMITMENT TO THE PROGRESSIVE AGENDA IN IBADAN NORTH

In a significant move aimed at strengthening party unity and consolidating progressive forces within Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina ‘Symbol’ has officially merged his political structure with that of Hon. Farouk Arisekola, popularly known as ‘Omo Oloore.’

This development was affirmed during a strategic meeting held at Travern Milano, Mokola, Ibadan, involving Hon. Farouk Arisekola, key members of both think tanks, and coordinators of the Symbol Group across all the 12 wards of Ibadan North Local Government.

During the meeting, Hon. Farouk Arisekola commended the loyalty, dedication, and steadfastness of members of the Symbol Group, describing their commitment to progressive politics as admirable and inspiring. He also appreciated Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina for embracing unity and responding positively to the intervention and appeals of respected party leaders in the overall interest of the party and Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Hon. Arisekola further noted that Hon. Aderonmu possesses the political capacity, grassroots connection, and credibility to contest and excel in the election in all ramifications, but chose the path of unity, maturity, and collective progress above personal ambition. He described the decision as a demonstration of leadership, sacrifice, and genuine commitment to the success of the progressive family.

He assured all members, coordinators, and supporters of the Symbol Group of full inclusion and equal participation within the Omo Oloore political family, emphasizing that every member would be treated with respect and recognition as integral stakeholders in the movement.

Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina “Symbol” also joined the meeting via a phone call, where he officially reaffirmed his decision to align his political structure with that of Hon. Farouk Arisekola “Omo Oloore.” During the conversation, he expressed strong confidence, trust, and belief in the leadership and political direction of Hon. Arisekola.

Hon. Aderonmu charged all members, coordinators, and loyal supporters of the Symbol Group to fully support and participate actively in the electioneering campaign of Hon. Farouk Arisekola throughout the primary process and subsequently during the main election after securing the party ticket.

He further appreciated his followers and political associates for their unwavering loyalty, steadfast support, and continuous belief in his leadership over the years, assuring them that the decision was taken in the overall interest of party unity, progress, and the future of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

In his remarks, Chief Lanre Busari, Coordinator of the Symbol Group, expressed deep appreciation to his principal, Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina, for choosing party progress over personal ambition at this critical time.
