A chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo State and hopeful of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, has charged Nigerian youths to harness their energy and youthfulness to better the future of this country.
Akinola in his 2024 International Youth Day message urged Nigerians in the youth circle to see opportunities they can tap in and explore in Nigeria as the country is blessed with a whole lot of resources that can shape not only the country but the explorers youths.
While at that, Akinola via a statement by his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, added that, “it is good to express ourselves to the constituted authorities when things are not getting the expected shape for the betterment of all, but still, we should be in tandems with the reality of this digital world where time is of value and opportunities are smiling at us.”
“As youth, we are stakeholders in this Nigeria project, and why don’t we look beyond taking to the street and jointly find alternatives to the problem facing us as a nation via ideation and negotiation.”
“As the global theme of this year’s International Youth Day, ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.’, how far have we been able to positively explore the opportunities in the digital space to our advantages? How are we making the best out of the time we are spending online? Why don’t we put politics at a corner and use our online presence to advance our potential?”
