The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Abimbola Adekanmbi, has continued his statewide tour of the Oke-Ogun geopolitical zone, seeking support and votes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adekanmbi, while addressing residents of Kishi and Igbeti, assured them of his commitment to providing good governance that would deliver the desired dividends of democracy to the people of Oyo State.
The former Oyo State Commissioner for Finance and APM gubernatorial candidate was accompanied on the tour by former lawmaker representing the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Hon. Biodun Olasupo; the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle; as well as other APM stakeholders and political leaders from Oke-Ogun.
Adekanmbi, who received a warm welcome from a large population of residents and supporters, expressed his readiness to work towards building a better Oyo State and ensuring that the state continues to rank among the leading states in Nigeria.
During interactions with traditional rulers, traders, artisans, party leaders and other community stakeholders, Adekanmbi assured them that his administration would pay attention to their genuine concerns if elected Governor of Oyo State in 2027.
He also pledged to build on the achievements of the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and continue the delivery of good governance across the state.
