Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja, the CEO of Ara Foundation and Chairperson of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS), Oyo State Chapter, has extended warm felicitations to the Christian faithful and all Nigerians on the occasion of Christmas and the forthcoming New Year.
In a message of hope released through her media aide, Kehinde Gbadeyanka, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja (Ara)—popularly known as Ara Oluyole—urged the nation to prepare for positive change, emphasizing that a better future begins with strong values at home, healthy relationships, and a spirit of unity among all citizens.
Acknowledging the economic challenges currently confronting Nigerians, particularly those arising from necessary government reforms, she noted that while the present hardships are difficult, these policies are designed to yield long-term benefits for the nation She encouraged Nigerians to remain resilient and creative, specifically advocating for the conscious patronage of locally made goods and services as a vital pathway to national economic recovery.
On the issue of security, Ara Oluyole expressed deep concern over the exploitation of ethnic sentiments by criminal elements to perpetrate kidnapping and other threats. She called on all citizens to remain vigilant, be content with legitimate earnings, and promptly expose any forms of aggression to safeguard the nation from destabilization.
Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja further emphasized that the festive season presents an opportunity for Nigerians to become more self-reliant and tap into their full potential for personal and national growth. She noted that Nigeria is mature enough to produce world-class leadership and reclaim its glory on the global stage, urging citizens to join hands in rebuilding the nation’s image. Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, she urged the citizenry to begin early preparations by identifying and supporting credible, tested, and trusted leaders, emphasizing that obtaining and safeguarding Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) is a fundamental civic duty.
A significant part of her message was dedicated to the empowerment of women in the political space. Ara Oluyole strongly encouraged women with leadership capacity and intellect to rise above the challenges of intimidation and financial barriers to contest for office. She called on wealthy Nigerians and stakeholders to provide the necessary financial and moral support to female aspirants, noting that women’s participation is crucial to achieving balanced national development. Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja concluded by emphasizing that the progress of Nigeria is a collective responsibility, calling on all professionals to remain diligent and uphold best practices in their workplaces as part of the ongoing process of national restoration and transformation.
