The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District and APC governorship hopeful, Senator AbdulFatai Buhari, PhD, has joined other eminent Nigerians to celebrate teachers on the occasion of the 2025 World Teachers’ Day.
In a message shared via his official social media page, Senator AbdulFatai Buhari commended teachers across the globe, particularly in Nigeria, for their consistency, resilience, and invaluable contributions to national development.
According to him, teachers remain the true nation-builders, having nurtured generations in the past and continuing to mold the leaders of tomorrow.
“Teachers are the genuine nation builders. They have nurtured generation after generation, and the profession continues to shape upcoming generations,” he stated.
Senator Buhari further noted “Today, on Teachers’ Day, I want to personally celebrate all our wonderful teachers across the country, particularly in Oyo North Senatorial District. You are the true backbone of our nation. I see the hard work you put in every day, often with limited resources, to mold us into what we are today and also to prepare our children to become tomorrow’s leaders. That sacrifice does not go unnoticed.”
He assured that as a lawmaker and representative of his people, he remains committed to advocating better welfare and improved conditions for teachers.
