Amofin Beulah Adeoye, the president of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation has joined millions of Nigerians home and abroad to celebrate Senator Monsurat Sunmonu as she clocked 66.
Amofin Adeoye described senator Sunmonu as a distinguished amazon who has contributed to the growth and development of Oyo State through insightful legislation as the first female Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015.
“Her excellent performance as the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly earned her deserving trust of constituents to represent them as senator, Oyo Central Senatorial District. Senator Sunmonu chaired Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, the position she used to promote strong bilateral relationships between Nigeria and other countries.
