Dr. Olamide Junaid, one of the leading aspirants for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-election, has mourned the passing of the former Oyo State House of Assembly lawmaker and Majority Leader, Hon. Hassan Kehinde Subair, in the early hours of Friday.
The late lawmaker represented the people of Ibadan South West Constituency 1 between 2011 and 2019 (two terms) in the Oyo State House of Assembly and became the Majority Leader of the Hallowed Chamber under the tenure of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
In her condolences, Dr. Olamide said Hon. Kehinde Subair was a dedicated lawmaker and an exemplary politician who played a significant role in Oyo State’s development.
“He also embodied humility and simplicity, both as a politician and a community leader. It should be interesting to know that he valued our party, APC, and gave his all to its development.”
Dr. Olamide Junaid prayed that Allah grants the immediate family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and comforts Oyo State as a whole.
“May his soul rest in peace, Hon. Kehinde Subair.”
