The National Body of Lagelu Grammar School Old Boys Association (LAGSOBA) has distinguishably honored the Honorable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, who is also a member of 1987 Set of the prestigious with ‘Grand Distinguished Achiever’ award.
The award as presented by the National President of the Association, Chief Abass Kadiri, was given during the 67th Founder’s Day celebration of the minister’s alma mater signify the recognition of his impacts over the years on the development of the school and education in general in Oyo State.
The minister, Adelabu, who is far away in Tanzania with the President Bola Tinubu attending Africa Power Summit; Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, as organized by the government of Tanzania in collaboration with the African Development Bank Group, is ably represented by his 1987 Set Chairman, Distinguished Lagelite Ibukun Ogunniran and one of his aides, Com. Femi Awogboro.
Reacting to the award on behalf the Minister of Power, Com Femi Awogboro, thanks Lagelu Grammar School for finding his boss worthy of the honor as they have always been recognizing his impact.
