The National Association of Nigeria Traders (NANTS), under the leadership of Princess Aderonke Adedoja, has issued a clarification regarding the ongoing rumors linking NANTS to Hon. Remi Oseni’s loan scheme for market men, women, and traders, spearheaded by Alhaja Sarat Mobaje.
In a press statement released through her media unit, Adedoja expressed her surprise at the rumors and deemed it necessary to set the record straight.
She categorically disassociated herself and the NANTS leadership in Oyo State from any alleged involvement in the scheme, emphasizing her commitment to upholding the integrity of her office.

Adedoja further noted that her focus remains on representing the interests of NANTS members and maintaining the trust placed in her managerial capabilities. She clarified that any politician, whether currently in office or aspiring, is free to empower traders through cash, equipment, or other means. However, the choice of channel for such initiatives lies entirely with the individuals involved. As such, the Oyo State chapter of NANTS is not connected to the said Remi Oseni Loan Empowerment Scheme for market traders in the state.
