The South-West Stakeholders Mobilisation Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, held its inaugural meeting at Providence Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, as part of preparations for the 2027 general election.
The meeting was led by the committee’s Chairman, former Governor of Lagos State, H.E. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN; Secretary, Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai Omotayo, PhD; former Governor of Ondo State, H.E. Olusegun Mimiko; and former Governor of Osun State, H.E. Gboyega Oyetola.
Also in attendance were the Secretary-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Lagos State Governor, H.E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; former Governor of Ekiti State, H.E. Niyi Adebayo; and Lagos State Deputy Governor and APC governorship candidate, H.E. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
Representing Oyo State at the inauguration were Hon. Adebayo Adelabu, Hon. Dauda Wasiu (Azuzu), Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina, Col. Gbenga Adegbola, Hon. Yekeen Woleola, Prof. Adejuwon, Com. Moshood Yusuff Alade and other members of the committee.
The inauguration marks the commencement of the committee’s activities in the South-West as the APC prepares for the 2027 presidential campaign.
