OYO – The Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu (Seun TNA), has urged graduating students to look beyond the classroom by embracing discipline, good character and continuous learning as they prepare for the next phase of their lives.
Addressing students, parents, teachers and other guests at the 2026 Valedictory Service of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Model High School, Oyo, where he served as Chairman, Ashamu congratulated the graduating class on attaining a significant milestone in their academic journey, describing education as the foundation for a successful and meaningful future.
He encouraged the students to regard learning as a lifelong pursuit, stressing that true success is determined not only by academic excellence but also by exposure, resilience and strong moral values.
“Your background may shape your beginning, but it does not have to define your future,” Ashamu said, urging the graduating students to remain committed to excellence and take advantage of every opportunity for personal growth and development.
He also commended the school’s management, teachers and parents for their dedication to raising future leaders, noting that investment in education remains one of the greatest commitments any society can make toward sustainable development.
In recognition of outstanding academic performance, Ashamu presented cash awards to the best graduating male and female students, congratulating them on their exceptional achievements and encouraging them to sustain the culture of excellence in their future academic and professional pursuits.
