…says Prosper Manifesto Offers a Clear Path to Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in Osun State
With the August 15, 2026 governorship election fast approaching, political conversations across Osun State have shifted from mere campaign slogans to a fundamental question: who possesses the experience, competence, and vision to move the state forward?
For many progressives, the answer is becoming increasingly clear, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
Speaking on the future of the state, Engr. Akeem Alamu Adelani, popularly known as IJALA, said the forthcoming election presents Osun people with a historic opportunity to elect a leader whose experience in public service and sound economic management positions him to address the state’s pressing challenges.
According to him, while successive administrations have contributed to the development of Osun State in different ways, the next phase of governance requires more than political rhetoric. He argued that the state needs a leader with the capacity to attract investment, strengthen public institutions, create employment opportunities, improve infrastructure, and build a resilient economy.

“Osun cannot afford to gamble with its future. The challenges before us require tested leadership, fiscal discipline, and a practical roadmap for sustainable development,” IJALA stated.
He described AMBO’s record in public service, particularly his tenure as Commissioner for Finance, as evidence of prudent financial management, transparency, and responsible governance, adding that such experience is indispensable at a time when the state seeks greater economic stability and inclusive growth.
IJALA further noted that AMBO’s Prosper Manifesto is a comprehensive development blueprint designed to reposition Osun through strategic investments in education, healthcare, agriculture, industrialisation, youth empowerment, workers’ welfare, rural development, security, and social protection.
According to him, the manifesto goes beyond campaign promises by offering practical solutions capable of unlocking the economic potential of every community across the state.
He maintained that Osun people deserve a government that prioritises job creation over political propaganda, economic prosperity over empty slogans, and responsible governance over unnecessary distractions.
“The future of our children, the welfare of our workers, the hopes of our farmers, artisans, market women, entrepreneurs, and the aspirations of every Osun citizen should remain the central focus of government. This is exactly what AMBO represents,” he said.
Calling on eligible voters to participate peacefully in the election, IJALA urged the electorate to look beyond sentiments and make competence the deciding factor at the polls.
He expressed confidence that AMBO possesses the leadership capacity to consolidate previous gains, confront current challenges, and usher Osun into a new era of prosperity and sustainable development.
“As history beckons once again, the choice before Osun people is simple. We can continue with politics as usual, or we can embrace purposeful leadership built on experience, integrity, and a clear vision for development.
“On August 15, let every vote speak for progress. Let every ballot reflect hope. Let every community stand for prosperity.
Vote competence. Vote experience. Vote AMBO.”
