Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Dr. Olamide Junaid, has congratulated former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as Chairman of the party in Oyo State.
Dr. Junaid also felicitated other newly elected members of the Oyo State Executive Committee of the APC, describing their emergence as a testament to the confidence reposed in them by party stakeholders and delegates across the state.

In a statement made available in Ibadan, the aspirant said Adeyemo’s wealth of experience in governance, as a former Deputy Governor, and party administration would further reposition the APC for cohesion, strategic mobilisation, and electoral success in subsequent electioneering process.

She noted that the former deputy governor’s leadership credentials and longstanding commitment to progressive ideals would be instrumental in strengthening internal democracy, fostering unity among party faithful, and expanding the APC’s grassroots base in Oyo State.
Dr. Junaid urged the new executive members to prioritise inclusiveness, reconciliation, and robust engagement with party leaders and members at all levels, stressing that collective responsibility remains key to building a formidable opposition platform in the state.
While pledging her loyalty to the party leadership, she assured the new chairman and his team of her support and cooperation in advancing the APC’s agenda in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and across Oyo State.
She further called on party members to close ranks, set aside personal interests, and work in synergy with the new executive to consolidate the party’s structures ahead of future electoral cycles.
