A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and House of Representatives aspirant for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, has congratulated former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as Chairman of the party in Oyo State.
Akinola, in a statement made available to journalists, also extended his congratulations to other newly elected executive members of the party, describing their emergence as a true reflection of internal democracy and collective resolve within the APC.

He expressed confidence in Adeyemo’s capacity to reposition the party, noting that his experience in governance and party administration would be instrumental in fostering unity and strategic mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections and beyond.

According to Akinola, the peaceful conduct of the state congress reflects the maturity and cohesion of party stakeholders across Oyo State. He commended members for embracing consensus and prioritising the overall interest of the Oyo APC.
“The emergence of Otunba Adeyemo and other executive members marks a new phase for our great party in Oyo State. Their wealth of experience and dedication will undoubtedly strengthen our structures and enhance our preparedness for the tasks ahead,” he stated.
Akinola urged party faithful to close ranks and support the new leadership, emphasising that unity remains the bedrock of political success.
He further pledged his loyalty and support to the state executive, assuring them of his readiness to contribute meaningfully to initiatives aimed at consolidating the party’s presence at the grassroots.
He wished the new chairman and his team a successful tenure, expressing optimism that the APC in Oyo State would witness renewed vigour, stability and progress under their administration..
