A House of Representatives aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Akinola Kazeem Akinola, has distributed over 400 bags of rice alongside cash support to leaders, members, and various support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the constituency as part of activities marking the Yuletide season.
The distribution exercise, which took place at his country home in Ibadan, was aimed at easing the burden of the festive season on party faithful and residents, while also promoting unity and shared celebration during Christmas and the New Year.
Speaking while overseeing the exercise, Hon. Akinola explained that the initiative was borne out of his commitment to the welfare of the people in the constituency.
“The rice and cash support are for the people of my federal constituency to enable them celebrate the Christmas and New Year festive seasons with joy,” he said.

He noted that the Yuletide period presents an opportunity to give back to the people, particularly in view of the prevailing economic realities, adding that his aspiration to represent Egbeda/Ona-Ara at the National Assembly is anchored on service, empathy, and people-centred leadership.
Party leaders and beneficiaries who received the items expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely of Hon. Akinola’s longstanding relationship with grassroots, party structures and support groups within the constituency.
They commended his consistency in engaging with party members and constituents, while offering prayers and goodwill as he continues consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
