A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and House of Representatives aspirant, Dr. Olamide Junaid, has joined eminent sons and daughters of Ibadan, as well as the wider Yoruba community, in congratulating Engr. Dotun Sanusi on his installation as the Okanlomo Oodua by the Oonirisa, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
In her congratulatory message, Dr. Junaid described the founder of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resorts as a distinguished personality whose new honour reflects his longstanding commitment to humanitarian causes and grassroots development across Yorubaland.
According to her, “This traditional title is a well-deserved recognition of his sustained service to the growth of Ibadanland and the Yoruba community at large. He has never relented in putting smiles on the faces of the many lives he continues to impact.”
She further noted that Engr. Sanusi remains “a bridge-builder and unifier,” expressing optimism that the Okanlomo Oodua title will further inspire him to deepen his contributions to communal progress.
“I wish him many more elevations and greater accomplishments ahead,” she concluded.
