Senator Fatai Buhari, PhD, a three-term Oyo North lawmaker, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and gubernatorial aspirant, has felicitated with Nigerians on the country’s 65th Independence anniversary, describing it as an achievement that reflects unity, resilience, and the promise of a greater future.
In his message, the Ogbomoso-born senator expressed gratitude for the nation’s continued togetherness despite challenges, noting that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity and the determination of its people to live in peace and harmony.
“Even though we have our challenges as a country, we continue to coexist and work together for a better system and to ensure the dividends of democracy for the prosperity of our nation and her citizens. Our challenges are not insurmountable; with time and collective effort, we will overcome them,” Fatai Buhari said.
Senator Buhari further assured Nigerians that under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the country is already experiencing the positive impact of transformational policies aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth.
“As lawmakers, we will continue to make laws and pass bills that bridge gaps and place Nigeria on the path of progress and prosperity,” he added.
