The Distinguished Royal Club 25 of Ibadanland (DRC25I) has felicitated with His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, on his enthronement as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Speaking at the historic coronation held at Mapo Hall, the President of DRC25I, Mogaji Gbolagade Moshood Akere, described the new Olubadan as “a man highly favoured and divinely positioned to lead Ibadan at this time.”
He assured that the club, which is committed to the advancement of Ibadanland, will continue to render unwavering support to the monarch in his new role.

Also lending his voice, the Secretary of the club, Mogaji Professor Lateef Sanni, lauded Oba Ladoja’s wealth of experience in politics, business, and community development, noting that such a background will be invaluable in ensuring sustainable development and growth for Ibadanland.
The Public Relations Officer of the club, Mogaji Ejilola Sefiu Abiodun, reiterated that the Distinguished Royal Club—comprising 18 Mogajis from the five metropolitan local governments of Ibadan—was founded to champion progress and unity across the city. “We will not relent in our efforts to do what is necessary for Ibadan’s advancement,” he stated.

Mogaji Ejilola further prayed for the longevity, sound health, and successful reign of the new Olubadan, while affirming the club’s readiness to collaborate with the palace in the collective interest of Ibadanland.
