PDP — The Peoples Democratic Party has defeated the All Progressives Congress in all twelve wards in Ibadan North federal constituency bye-election conducted to fill the vacant House of Representatives seat in the constituency, held on Saturday.
In Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official declaration Hon. Fola Oyekunle, popularly known as “DoN,” of the Peoples Democratic Party, declared the winner of the keenly contested bye-election for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Oyekunle ‘Don’ did not only win the election landslide, he also defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Wale Murphy, in his polling unit.
