…One Motorcycle Each for Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency, Barr. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu (Seun TNA), has donated four motorcycles to hunters’ associations across the four local government areas of the constituency.

The motorcycles, distributed at one per local government area, were presented to hunters representing Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West to support their mobility and community security activities.
The intervention recognises the important role played by local hunters in supporting security efforts, particularly in rural communities where difficult terrain and limited transportation can affect mobility.
Speaking during the presentation, Ashamu acknowledged the contributions of hunters and other community-based security groups to local safety and the protection of lives and property.
He emphasised the importance of cooperation between communities, recognised local security groups and statutory security agencies in addressing security challenges.
Ashamu noted that effective community security requires local knowledge, coordination and access to appropriate operational resources.
He explained that the motorcycles were intended to provide practical mobility support to the beneficiary associations, particularly in areas where access and movement can be challenging.
The former Oyo State Commissioner also reiterated the importance of supporting community institutions whose activities contribute to public safety and the wellbeing of residents.
The donation formed part of Ashamu’s ongoing engagements with professional associations, community organisations and other groups across Afijio, Oyo East, Oyo West and Atiba Federal Constituency.
The motorcycles are expected to support the associations’ mobility in carrying out their lawful community security activities in coordination with relevant authorities.
