The Pioneer Chairman, Aare Latoosa LCDA and Ibadan North Federal Constituency Hopeful, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji popularly known as Omo BAO has felicitated Christians and constituents, sought for love and unity as they commemorate Christmas.
In a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists on Wednesday in Ibadan, Oyo State, he said “Christmas, celebrated by Christians around the World, is a joyous and sacred holiday that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
“Observed on December 25, Christmas Eve marks the beginning of this festive season.”
“At its core, Christmas represents the values of love, compassion, kindness, and generosity. It serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of selflessness, forgiveness, and the pursuit of peace, and there is need to exemplify this in our lives.
“For Christians, Christmas is a celebration of the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, who is believed to be the son of God. According to the Biblical narrative, Jesus’ Birth was foretold by Prophets and marked the fulfillment of ancient prophecies.
