The Oyo State chapter of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Apostle (Hon.) Oloruntoba Oke, the National Treasurer of the group.
In a condolence message signed by the Chairman, Hon. Sunday Adepoju, and the Secretary, Hon. Adeniyi Abiodun Adeoti, SWAGA Oyo State described Apostle Oke as a dedicated and visionary leader who played a significant role in the political movement that propelled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to victory.

“It is with a deep sense of loss that we received the news of the passing of our beloved Apostle (Hon.) Oloruntoba Oke. He was a pathfinder and a committed force behind the actualization of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential project,” the statement read.
The group extended its condolences to SWAGA’s National Chairman, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, and other members of the National Executive Committee, acknowledging Apostle Oke’s impact as an effective public servant and patriotic Nigerian.

“While his earthly presence will be missed, we take solace in the fact that he lived a life of service to Nigeria and Lagos State. His contributions to the development of his immediate communities remain a lasting legacy,” the statement added.
SWAGA Oyo State prayed for the repose of his soul and strength for all those grieving his loss.
“May Apostle Oke’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may the Almighty grant SWAGA and his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
