NANTS, SOUTHWEST — Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja, Chairperson of the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) Oyo state chapter, recently met with the state Hausa Community Leaders (Arewa) to foster unity and drive socio-economic growth.
The meeting aimed to build synergy and socio-economic integration between the two groups.
As the new leader of NANTS in Oyo state, Princess Adedoja has already begun making waves.
Her election was a unanimous decision, and she has promised to foster economic growth, development, and be a beacon of hope for traders in the state and the country as a whole.
The meeting was attended by notable figures, including Alhaji Musa Olatunji Akande, South-West Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Tiamiyu Adebayo, Deputy Chairman Ibadan Zone, Comrade Abiodun Ajayi, Alhaji Nureni Oladehinde Oladimeji, Oluyole Chairman, Mr. Michael Olusola Bamidele, Esq., Legal Adviser, and other NANTS members.
Arewa representatives from different markets, community, and Serikis were also in attendance.
The Arewa Chairman, Alhaji Danlami, also expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration and promised that the new entrants from Arewa Community would not be saboteurs but agents of progress for the association.
With him also in the meeting were Sabo Arewa Youth leader, Alhaji Abdu-mumin, Arewa Secretary Alhaji Sule Dabbo and Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Arewa Matters, Alhaji Ahmmed, Seriki Hausawa Bodija, among other Hausa leaders graced the event.
With this new development, the association has begun work in the 19 Arewa states, expanding its reach and impact across the region and the country as a whole.
One of the Serikis present at the meeting praised Princess Adedoja, saying: “ARA, we know her to be a woman of integrity, trustworthy and caring.
She is one of us.”Princess Adedoja’s leadership is indeed instrumental in fostering unity, and this meeting is a testament to her commitment to promoting socio-economic growth and integration.
