The Rotary Club of Ibadan-Oritamefa is set to install Dr. Olatunde Ogundiran as its 11th President on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The investiture ceremony will be held at the Afe Babalola Bar Centre, Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, beginning at 12 noon.
According to a press release signed by Rotarian Adeniyi Abiodun Adeoti, Chairman of the Publicity Committee, the grand event will also feature the induction of new members, the inauguration of the Board of Directors, the presentation of awards, and a fundraising segment to support the club’s ongoing humanitarian projects.
The club’s areas of focus include Basic Education and Literacy, Water, Hygiene and Sanitation, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Maternal and Child Health, Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, Economic and Community Development, and Environmental Protection.

The Investiture Planning Committee, chaired by Rotarian Ojo Jimoh, has assured that preparations are in top gear to ensure a successful and memorable ceremony.
Dignitaries expected at the occasion include Rt. Honourable Dr. Mudashiru Obasa, Esq, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly as Chairman of the Day. Kabiyesi Alayeluwa Oba Adesegun Bolaji Aloeonle, the Elemuren of Emuren Kingdom, who will serve as Royal Father of the Day; General and Mama Oladayo Popoola as Father and Mother of the Day; Hon. Moses Oluwatoyin Fayinka, Member representing Mushin Constituency II in the House of Representatives, as Special Guest of Honour; and Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, who will be honoured as an award recipient.
