The Rotary Club of Ibadan-Oritamefa will on Saturday, August 16, 2025, honor eminent personalities and Nigeria Distilleries Limited (NDL) for their outstanding contributions to humanity and nation-building.
According to a statement by Rotarian Adeniyi Abiodun Adeoti, Chairman of the Publicity Committee, the awards are part of the club’s 11th investiture ceremony, where Rotarian Olatunde Ogundiran, PhD, will be installed as President.
The event will also feature the induction of Board members and new members, as well as a fundraiser for the 2025–26 community development projects focusing on education, peacebuilding, maternal and child health, disease prevention, water and sanitation, economic development, and environmental protection.

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, will chair the event, with Rtd. Maj. Gen. Oladayo Popoola and Madam Adebisi Popoola as Father and Mother of the Day. Other expected guests include Rt. Hon. Moses Oluwatoyin Fayinka, Engr. Oluwole Agbaje of Idea Konsult Ltd., and Rotary leaders across the district.
The program will be held at the Afe Babalola Bar Center, opposite NTC Building, Iyaganku, Ibadan, starting at 12 noon.
