The Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF) visited Igboora on Friday, September 6th, 2024, to support market men and women, as well as artisans, in registering their businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and opening official bank accounts.
During the visit, Alhaji Waheed Orogun, President of the Ibadan Progressives Market Association, shared his association’s positive experience with RAAF’s initiatives. He highlighted how his association benefited from a one million naira (N100,000,000) scheme facilitated by Sen. Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi a few years ago, which is still yielding benefits for members today.
Sen. Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi was accompanied on the visit by Engr. Tunde Tolase, Mr. Dotun Olorundero, Alh. Waheed Orogun, Hon. Femi Adetumbi, and Hon. Olaide Akinpelu.
The Market men, women and various Artisans expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Senator Akanbi for the numerous projects he has executed in Ibarapaland, as well as the ongoing ones.

Representatives of the 7 Ibarapa communities commended RAAF for its genuine support, noting that other politicians had promised similar assistance but failed to deliver. They expressed gratitude for RAAF’s trustworthiness and Sen. Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi’s unwavering commitment to supporting humanity.
