House of Representatives Aspirant and chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Olamide Junaid has joined the Hausa community in Ibadan to commiserate with them on the death of the Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadan, Alh. Ali ‘Dahiru Zungeru.
Dr. Olamide in her condolences message and visit briefly described the late Sarkin Hausawa as a patriot of tolerance and lover of Arewa Community development and Ibadan as a whole. The visit, according to her was aimed at commiserating with the family and the community over the loss of a highly respected traditional leader and community patriarch.

Dr. Junaid further said “the late Sarkin Hausawan Ibadan was a detribalised, peace-loving leader whose life was devoted to promoting unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities in Oyo State.” She noted that his legacy of harmony and communal understanding will continue to be remembered and upheld across Ibadan and beyond.
She pray for the repose of the soul of the departed monarch, asking Almighty Allah to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, while also praying for strength, comfort, and fortitude for his family and the entire Arewa community in Sabo, Oyo State, during this period of mourning.
