A 132kV transformer, along with all necessary paraphernalia, has been successfully delivered to the community, with additional technical components set to be installed in due time to ensure full operational capacity.
In a parallel development, similar electrification efforts have commenced between Iseyin and Okeho in Kajola Local Government Area, showing steady progress towards completion.
In the same vein, the Honourable Minister has also commissioned a 63MVA, 132/33kV mobile substation at Eleyele in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
This critical infrastructure project, executed by the FGN Power Company in collaboration with Siemens Energy, is poised to significantly enhance electricity supply to thousands of homes and businesses.
The direct beneficiaries of the Eleyele substation include residents and business owners in Apete, Ologuneru, The Polytechnic Ibadan, Sango, and Bodija, improving quality of life and boosting economic activity in these key urban areas.
