A House of Representatives aspirant in Egbed/Ona-Ara, Akinola Kazeem, has posthumously felicitated the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, on what would have been his 76th birthday.
In a brief message, Akinola described the late senator and two-term governor as a beacon of hope and an astute administrator who served the people of Oyo State meritoriously and with selfless dedication throughout his lifetime.
He noted that although Ajimobi is no longer alive, his leadership ideals and legacies remain firmly rooted within the progressive family in Oyo State.

“Our leader may no longer be with us physically, but he continues to remain our revered leader. His legacy still guides the progressive family in Oyo State, and he remains a point of reference in virtually every political discourse,” Akinola stated.
He added, “Today, we remember him fondly and pray that Allah continues to be pleased with his soul. Amen.”
