In his posthumous tribute to the late versatile leader and progressive unifier, made available by his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, Akinola described Ajimobi as a man of unparalleled principles, rare to find in today’s political landscape.
“While I join family, friends, and other eminent Nigerians in remembering the great icon who passed away four years ago, it is important to state again that we still miss him — his intellectual sagacity, his philosophical oratory, his refined taste for quality, his meticulous lifestyle, his enviable political ideology, and his unique way of life,” Akinola said.
“It is our belief, as Muslim worshippers, that he is living under the mercy of Almighty Allah, as his soul was pleased with Him.”
“May Allah continue to be pleased with his soul, support his family, and bless everything he left behind. Four years feel like yesterday. Rest on, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi,” Akinola concluded.
