A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and House of Representatives aspirant for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Sarafa Olaoniye, has congratulated Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo on his election as Chairman of the party in Oyo State.
Olaoniye, in a statement issued through his media aide, Taoreed Adeniran, described Adeyemo’s emergence as a welcome development, expressing confidence in his capacity to reposition the party for greater success.
According to him, Adeyemo’s wealth of experience and leadership acumen would serve as a strong foundation for unity and progress within the party.
“The party is in good hands,” Olaoniye stated, urging members across the state to rally behind the new leadership in the overall interest of the APC.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the state congress and the spirit of consensus that characterised the process, noting that the development reflected internal cohesion and maturity within the party structure.
Olaoniye stressed the imperative of unity and stability, warning that internal divisions could undermine collective aspirations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“A house divided against itself cannot stand. This is the time to close ranks and focus on repositioning the party for victory in 2027,” he added.
The aspirant further pledged his unalloyed support for the new chairman and his executive team, expressing optimism that the APC in Oyo State would witness renewed vibrancy under Adeyemo’s leadership.
