Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State, Dr. Gbenga Adegbola rtd, has paid tribute to the late Chief Michael Koleosho, one year after his passing.
Adegbola described the late elder statesman as a rare political leader, a father figure, and a bridge-builder whose counsel and wisdom remain deeply missed within the political class across the state.

Adegbola noted that Chief Koleosho’s legacy of humility, fairness, and dedication to the growth of democracy in Nigeria will continue to serve as a guiding light for younger and contemporary politicians.
“Chief Michael Koleosho was more than a leader to us; he was a father whose advice and guidance shaped our political journey. One year after his demise, the vacuum he left is still very much felt, not just in our Oke-Ogun, but in the political landscape of Oyo State,” Adegbola said
.
The APC hopeful further prayed for the continued repose of the late Chief’s soul, while calling on political leaders and members across party lines to emulate his virtues of loyalty, truth, and selfless service to the people.
