The Pioneer Chairman Aare Latoosa LCDA and Ibadan North Federal Constituency Hopeful, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji popular known as Omo BAO, has described the demise of the Missioner of a foremost Islamic organisation Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello as a colossal loss to Oyo, Yoruba Race and Nigeria in general.
Omo BAO, who is a leading aspirant of Ibadan North by-election in a press statement personally signed by him on Saturday said, the late Islamic Scholar was a renowned Cleric known globally and community leader who was highly respected for his truthfulness, fearless, selflessness, and contributions to the development of his community and beyond.
The statement reads: “This is extremely painful as the death of Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello remains a big loss to the Muslim Community in Yoruba land, and the entire Ummah in the Country.
“He was one of the few fearless men of God who stood for the truth irrespective of the power that be. He was blessed with islamic knowledge and modesty, using his preaching to purify many souls, and clean up the entire Muslim Community.
“What distinguished him as an Islamic faithful was his nature which created a friendly and mutual relationship between the Muslims and Christians, as he epitomized simplicity and peaceful co-existence.” Omo BAO added.
Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji further extends his deepest condolences to the Muslim Community in Yorubaland, Ansar-un-deen Society of Nigeria and beyond, praying Allah to repose the soul of the departed and grant him Aljana firdaouz.”
