As Nigeria mourns the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, a man whose life was defined by discipline, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to national service, Oyo APC Reps Aspirant, Dr. Olamide Junaid has joined global leaders in mourning the former Head of State.
Dr. Olamide in her mourning message described the life and time of the late president as one that is full of lessons and things to reflect on.
According to her “From the battlefield to the presidency, his legacy remains one of courage, loyalty, and simplicity. He served Nigeria with integrity and unwavering dedication, always placing the unity and progress of the nation above all else.”
“As both a former military Head of State and a democratically elected President, Buhari exemplified strength, resilience, and a rare humility in leadership.
“He was a symbol of steadfastness who led with a quiet yet firm resolve that inspired many across generations. His contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey, his personal values of austerity, and his consistent fight against corruption marked him as a leader set apart in times of moral uncertainty.” She said.
“As we say goodbye to one of Nigeria’s patriots, we also bid farewell to a father figure whose name will remain etched in the annals of our national history. His impact will be remembered, his values respected, and his legacy preserved.
“May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus. May his family find strength. And may Nigeria continue to benefit from the the seeds of service he sowed.” Dr. Olamide Junaid.prayed.
