The Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State will tomorrow pay their final respects to one of their most beloved figures, Hon. Olaoye Oluseye Samuel, who passed away on the 2nd of June, 2025, at the age of 46. A tireless community developer and respected political leader, his death has left a deep void in the hearts of many across the state.
Widely known as “Hon. Seye,” he was admired for his humility, hands-on leadership style, and consistent dedication to the progress of his community. Hon. Olaoye Oluseye carved a lasting legacy that endeared him to people across party lines and societal divides.

According to the burial arrangements, the final rites will be held on Monday, 9th of June, 2025. The line-in-state and interment service will take place at Saint James the Great Avenue, behind the Total Filling Station at Ijokodo, Sango-Eleyele Road, Ibadan. The service will begin at 10:00 AM, with dignitaries, party members, community leaders, and residents expected to attend in large numbers.
As the community prepares to lay him to rest, Hon. Olaoye Oluseye Samuel will be remembered not for anything, but for the lives he touched and the legacy he left behind.
