All is set for the commissioning of a newly built JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre donated by Iseyin-born Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Ahmed Raji, scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Ahead of the event, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede, alongside a team of JAMB directors, arrived in Ibadan on Tuesday afternoon. They were received at the Ibadan Airport by Ahmed Raji SAN; former Board Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande; Hon. Azeez Fatai Adesokan; and other eminent stakeholders in Oyo State.
The state-of-the-art CBT Centre, built and fully donated by the renowned lawyer, philanthropist, and community development advocate, will be formally handed over to JAMB to support the conduct of its computer-based examinations, particularly the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Located within Raji Oke-Esa Memorial Secondary School in the heart of Iseyin, the facility has been widely described as a timely intervention, especially as preparations intensify for the 2026 UTME.

Stakeholders note that the donation is deeply symbolic and socially responsive, following a tragic incident two years ago in which prospective JAMB candidates from Iseyin lost their lives while traveling to Ibadan to sit for their examinations. The new centre is expected to significantly reduce travel-related risks for candidates in Iseyin and surrounding communities.
The commissioning ceremony is expected to attract education stakeholders, community leaders, and government officials, marking a major boost to educational infrastructure in Oyo State’s Oke-Ogun axis
