Oyo North Senatorial District Lawmaker, Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari PhD has totally condemned the bandits attack on the National Park Service of Nigeria at Oloka Forest Reserve.
Buhari who described the incident as sad and unfortunate one said it is high time all hands should be on desk to arrest the menace of bandits in our respective communities.

In his words, “I condemn the banditry attacks that claimed the lives of five forest guards of National Park Service of Nigeria at Oloka Forest Reserve in Oriire Local Government area of Oyo Norrth Senatorial district yesterday.”
“This is a very sad occurrence, unfortunate and inhumane. It is a calculated attack by the bandits, which I will urge the security agencies in the area to unravel the identities of those behind the wicked act.”
“I want to charge the people of Oloka, its environs and the local government area to be more vigilant and report any suspected movement of strange people to security agencies. Also, i implore the Oyo State government to quickly wade in to thwart further operations of bandits in the state.”

He added by sympathising with the families of the deceased by assuring them that efforts to ensure safety of lives and properties of people in the local government, Oyo North and Oyo State at large shall be put in place by government at all levels.
“I pray for the souls of the departed staffers of National Park Service of Nigeria, Oloka, to rest in peace and that God shall endow the families with the fortitude to bear the loss.” Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari
