INEC Set To Conduct Ibadan North, Other Constituencies By-election August 16

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that it will conduct Ibadan North Federal Constituency and other by-elections across affected constituencies on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

The elections are being organised to fill vacant seats in the National and State Assemblies, which have arisen due to resignations, deaths, or court annulments.

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this during the consultative meeting with political parties in Abuja on Thursday.
