Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North and Oyo State, Dr. Olamide Junaid, has condoled with the National Secretary of the APC, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, over the death of his beloved mother, Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru.
In her brief condolence message, Dr. Olamide Junaid sympathised with the entire family over the demise of their matriarch, Alhaja Sidikat Basiru, whom she described as an irreparable loss to the family and the entire compound from which they hailed.
The founder of the OJC–Olamide Junaid Care Foundation added that those who know the rare qualities and political sagacity of Sen. Ajibola Basiru would understand the values instilled in him by his mother, reflecting a proud family committed to nurturing souls for national development.

She added: “Alhaja Sidikat Basiru’s death is a great loss to our party scribe at the national level and the entire family. We can only pray that Allah accepts her return and overlooks her shortcomings. We also pray that Allah grants the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss of their beloved matriarch.”
