One of the leading aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming bye-election for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Dr. Olamide Junaid, has officially picked up her nomination and expression of interest forms at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
Dr. Junaid, who has consistently shown strong grassroots support and a clear legislative agenda, made this strategic move as part of her ongoing preparations ahead of the party’s primary election.
It will be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently announced its readiness to conduct bye-elections into vacant seats in both the National and State Assemblies across the country. The elections have been scheduled for August 16, 2025.

Following INEC’s announcement, political parties have begun mobilizing for the crucial exercise.
