Following the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct by-elections across the country to fill vacant legislative seats, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the cost of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for aspirants vying for various positions.
According to the APC’s schedule, the form is open for sale starting from July 7th, 2025 and the cost for the Senate ticket has been pegged at N17 million for the Nomination Form and N3 million for the Expression of Interest Form, totaling N20 million.

For the House of Representatives, the Nomination Form is set at N9 million, while the Expression of Interest Form is N1 million, bringing the total to N10 million.
At the State House of Assembly level, aspirants will pay N1.5 million for the Nomination Form and N500,000 for the Expression of Interest Form, amounting to N2 million.

In line with the party long-standing affirmative action policy, the party has offered significant concessions to female aspirants and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). These categories of aspirants will only be required to pay for the Expression of Interest Form, while the Nomination Form will be issued free of charge.
Additionally, youths between the ages of 25 and 40 will enjoy a 50% discount on the total cost of both forms.
The APC is expected to officially announce the timeline for the sale of forms and screening processes ahead of the by-elections in the coming days.
