Senator AbdulFatai Buhari has congratulated Akeem Babatunde Abass on his emergence as the newly elected Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council.

In a statement issued in Ibadan, the lawmaker described Abass’s victory as a strong vote of confidence from media professionals who believe in his credibility, experience, and unwavering commitment to ethical journalism.

He praised the electoral process and commended members of the union for choosing a leader who has consistently contributed to the growth of the media industry in the state.
