Senator Abdulfatai Omotayo Buhari’s exemplary leadership has continuously brought transformation to life in the Oyo North Senatorial District where he has represented the people with simplicity, humility and vitality. He has not only served as the esteemed Senator who devotedly represents his constituents, but has transformed lives, built legacies, and advanced community interests.
BAF’s tenure as a lawmaker, people’s representative and servant leader has renewed hope, restored common sense leadership and inspired change. His strongest quality is in the area of human capacity development where he has facilitated life changing job opportunities for hundreds of his constituency members and beyond.
As a Senator of the Federal Republic, his leadership has shaped community development, his empowerment programmes have lifted many out of poverty and his presence a breath of fresh air. But BAF’s brilliance extends far beyond that. He has empowered more than 500 women and people in the Oke-Ogun and Ogbomosho zones in addition to helping to build a cutting-edge 40-bed hospital in Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area, through economic development initiatives, encouraging independence and expansion, and obtaining N1.37 billion for vital projects like flood control at Odo Omosin and Odo Oloko Masifa in Ogbomoso and road construction (Odo Alamo, Iwagba Area).

Top of his achievements as an unassuming but excellently performing lawmaker was his bill for the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology in Okeho effectively transforming the lot of a region that has suffered neglect by the federal government. Again, big on his achievements included infrastructural renewal in schools, market and other places. His scorecard? Perfect and unmatched. His dedication, unparalleled. Now that he is running for governor of Oyo State, he is simply the best man for the job.
As the governor of the state, Oyo will witness a significant increase in job creations and employment opportunities under Governor AbdulFatai Buhari Omotayo, PhD, extending his success as a senator to all local governments.
With hospitals in every area, the healthcare revolution guarantees that no Oyo State resident will be left behind in accessing affordable health care. How about economic expansion? As a business man himself, he will implement investor-friendly policies, modern agriculture, and youth empowerment. As a Doctor of Philosophy from the esteemed University of Abuja, he’s going to foster inclusive growth that will deepen trades among the zones and beyond.
