The Vice-Chancellor, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan on Tuesday, formally handed over the Administrative building renovated by his administration for the proposed Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) programme to the Professor Dorcas Moronkola-led-Committee. The handing over of the building was a major step towards the commencement of the JUPEB programme by the University.
In a release made available by the University spokesman, Wale Adeoye, the Eruwa-born administrator while speaking at the ceremony, lauded the JUPEB Committee Chairperson, Professor Dorcas O. Moronkola and her members for the efforts put in so far.
“Let me profoundly appreciate the EKSU Relocation-to-Isokun Campus Committee headed by Dr. ‘Segun Adeagbo for a job well done. The committee actually laid a foundation for today’s event. I specifically thank Professor Moronkola- JUPEB- Committee for being proactive in the assignment given to it. I am sure that with this handing over of the administrative building which we have renovated for the JUPEB Programme, resource verification exercise can be held for us to start the programme for prospective applicants. I am sure that within the next one year, this programme will be flooded with over a thousand students. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this history. On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students, I hereby formally hand-over the JUPEB Building to you for use to the glory of God and mankind”, he submitted.

Earlier in her welcome address, Chairperson, JUPEB Committee, Professor Moronkola showered encomiums on the Vice-Chancellor and the Management team for vision and the provision of the needed support to actualize the vision. I am very sure that our prospective students will immensely benefit from the programme when it finally commences. “I thank Mr. Vice-Chancellor for the opportunity given to us as members of the committee”, she submitted.
The Director of Works and Physical Planning, Engr. Jimoh Akintunde Bello, FNSE lauded the Vice-Chancellor for his leadership and commitment to making things better. “When we came here the other time and the VC said the building would be renovated, I was hoping that it would work. But by the grace of God, the Vice-Chancellor, determined as he his, approved and made available the needed funds. The result is what we are seeing here today. The Vice-Chancellor has further added some comfort to the building. Thank you sir”, he submitted.

Dignitaries at the hand-over event were the University Bursar, Mr. Olawole Ojetola, FCA, University Librarian, Dr. Olatundun O. Oyewumi, Director of Works and Physical Planning, Engr. Akintunde Bello, FNSE, Senior Deputy Registrar/Directorate of Affiliated Institutions, Mr. Adelakin P. Adegbite, Chairperson, JUPEB Committee, Professor Dorcas Moronkola, Committee members- Dr. Rasheed Obasekore Garuba, Dr. Sunday Adeagbo, Dr. Shola Rasheed Amao, Wale Adeoye who is the Secretary of the Committee and a host of others.
Meanwhile, the JUPEB Verification Exercise for Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo will hold on Friday, 25 July, 2025. This is contained in letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and signed the Board’s Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, Professor Ademola Adeleke, MNAL.
